An entrance to Merriweather Post Pavilion will be on your right. The iconic cultural anchor of the Merriweather District opened in 1967. It was built to be the summer home of the National Symphony Orchestra but that was short-lived. It soon transitioned to offering a variety of music genres. The venue has welcomed the most popular performers of the day and continues to be one of the best outdoor music venues in the country.
