The Perth County Courthouse

3rd stop: On the banks of the Avon River stands the Perth County Courthouse, a fortress of stone, law, and memory. Commissioned in 1884 and designed by architect George F. Durand, it replaced Stratford’s aging civic buildings with a dignified home for justice.
