Transcript: In 1969, construction started for Stockton University in the Pinelands. The first founder of the school, Dr. Richard E. Bjork decided to start the school year off by having a temporary campus, the place being the Mayflower Hotel in Atlantic City. Only a year later, the first four Deans of Stockton were chosen, Woodworth Thrombley, Ken Tompkins, Dan Moury, and Philip Klukoff.
