Martin Family Legacy Garden: A Dementia-Inclusive Park (Audio Tour)

Southview Park, Dover SE Calgary

Welcome to Martin Family Legacy Garden - a park designed with people living with dementia, their caregivers and families in mind, while offering opportunities for the broader community to play and connect. Led by Parks Foundation Calgary, and informed by Alzheimer Calgary, Dementia Network Calgary, the University of Calgary, dementia-inclusive design research, and community input, this Garden demonstrates what a public space can be when it is designed with care. \[For the best experience, please turn on your location services and download the Echoes app.]
