Stratford Public Library

A Carnegie-era public library in downtown Stratford (opened 1903). It’s a civic learning hub and everyday study space that anchors the neighborhood. To us, it’s the quiet page-turns and soft footsteps that shaped our work rhythms and gave us a calm place to start things.

Shakespearean Gardens

A formal riverside garden in downtown Stratford with seasonal beds and paths inspired by Shakespeare. It’s a signature public space that ties nature to the city’s festival identity—quiet, central, and easy to linger in on the way between sites. To us, it’s a reset point: birdsong, water, and leaf-rustle where we pause between classes and let the day slow down.

Blowes Cards & Gifts

A long-standing stationery and office shop on Wellington Street (since 1949) inside the historic Brandenberger Block. It’s part of Stratford’s back-to-school culture and everyday errands—supplying students, artists, and offices for generations. To us, it’s the door chime, wood floors, and pen tests that feel like small rituals of getting ready.

The Boathouse

A riverside rental and patio on the Avon River (canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, bikes). It connects the community to the water and parks, a long-running local tradition. For us, it’s where we slow down between classes—wavelets, paddles, and dock chatter resetting our pace.
