Ólafsfjörður

Sound creations made in and around the town of Ólafsfjörður while on the Northwind artist residency at Listhus. There are two bodies of work.

Singing with Scenery is a quick response project that sees me making small folkloric improvisations in various locations. These recordings are lightly manipulated using only the original sounds and software effects to enhance the compositions.

Heraclitus in Iceland is a body of more refined compositions that use field recordings, instruments, improvisations and digital manipulations to create a set of pieces reflecting on ideas of continuum temporality.
