"Echoes of Ubud" is a soundscape project set in the natural jungle environment of Ubud, Bali, through the lens of an outsider. The project aims to create an immersive audio experience for listeners that captures the beauty of the surroundings at Villa Kalisat, including the village. The soundscape will be divided into two distinct geolocated echoes that will transport listeners to different areas within the location. Selfishly, I had hoped these sounds would work as a memory trigger to escape to when I'm back in the rushed monotony of life in the city.

This is the location-aware project for FILM\_1001. In this project, I use a train as a metaphor which leads the way to my secret places of hopes and dreams. In those places, I have developed lots of creative skills and different perspectives by taking photographs, playing acoustic guitar, or simply chatting with my friends in the late afternoons. Those places are also important in helping me orientate and define what dreams I should follow. All places in this project are from my hometown (Dalat city, Viet Nam).
