Location: Chard, Somerset, England, United Kingdom

Redstart Radio is a totally free sound walk based in Chard, Somerset showcasing the creative writing skills of local Year 5 students from Redstart Primary.

The honorary art detectives worked with the Company of International Artists for two full days, investigating 10 different artworks, and created intriguing new stories inspired by details they spotted in the artworks. They recorded these new stories as radio dramas for everyone to enjoy.

This sound walk is available at any time, and is a self-led experience. There is no set route.

It is hosted on a free sound walk app called Echoes, which requires no roaming data provided you have already downloaded the app and this sound walk before setting out. 

This walk is spread across 10 different locations in Chard, Somerset. All are located on fairly easy terrain suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. 

There are several car parks in the area, one of the largest being Bath Street Carpark, TA20 2EY.
