Eight Turntables is a composition by Bill Kelley (http://wdkelley.com). Often performed live, this recorded version uses tracks from 15 albums of indigeneous music from around the world. Beginning with a Cambodian Shaman and Eskimo Children, the piece moves forward anchored by Tibetan Bells at double speed. Other indigeneous cultures represented include those from Uganda, Kenya, Cambodia, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Columbia, the Ukraine, Northwest Eskimo, Bulgaria, Turkey and India. May we all live in peace.
