A self-guided, interactive music + poetry audio tour, celebrating the fall season. Each sound is triggered by the listener's movements within the Sound Garden at Riverside Park.
Experience composer/director JG Everest's Fall Sound Garden spatial sound score with original Fall poetry performed by Chavonn Shen, Annette Schiebout, Lisa Yankton, Jeffrey Skemp, and Sagirah Shahid as you move through the northwest corner area of historic Riverside Park, the oldest city park in the Minneapolis Park system. Also includes additional sonic layers by the Free Range Orchestra & Choir. Headphones recommended. Site-specific photography and dance performance details included with each sound "echo".
Presented by wavelets creative and the Cedar Riverside People's Center with Springboard for the Arts, part of the "Because Your Health Matters" initiative.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
