This is going to be about a school tour post-apocalyptic after the virus spread. It is the ruins left of a once lively school. We begin where the virus began and walk our way down to the social sciences building, then to the physical sciences building, then to the library and performing arts center.

Welcome to the beginning of where the world ended. CSUSB once a beautiful school turned into the hot spot of the virus that is now the death of everyone who is in contact.

If you look to the right you can see where the virus originated from. Room 214 is where the virus had happened. The room had a mouse that was exposed to radiation which caused the cells of the rat to mutate. While being fed the mouse bit the handler and he became patient zero. His symptoms started out like a small cold with a sore throat and slightly runny nose, then they developed into vomiting, nose bleeds, diarrhea, dizziness, coughing, headaches, and uncontrollable shaking. He spread the virus when coughing. The virus is airborne and can also be spread through physical contact.

From there he gave it to patient 1, who gave it to someone else, who sadly gave it to the children at the school. In this area, you’re by the social and behavioral sciences buildings. By chance, you would have seen the children playing outside in their little playground space. This was a daycare center for young kids, the maximum age being 24 months. If the child is any older then they’d be at our other daycare center where they care for children older than 24 months.

From there the virus spread like wildfire. Students were catching it left to right. The kids were taking it back home to their families, then families would take it to work and grocery stores, and social gatherings. Nobody was safe and nobody could escape it.

The government had all the students sent home and those who were infected were sent to the library for treatment and to be isolated from the students to try and contain the spread of the virus. This was once where people would study and read about the arts. There are study rooms that are soundproof, which are now for the ill patients who scream in agony. You would come here to study, there was 24/7 on-line reference help, computer labs and printers, and you could’ve grabbed a snack from the vending machines.

They also had a Starbucks inside for the students, but now it is used to keep the medications and supplies to treat the ill. There were also classes that were held in the library for several different subjects. Now turned into a hospital they say that the higher floors are where the sickest patients lived and died. That’s the whole reason you are here right? Supplies and the medication that are housed here. Books on different herbal medicines and medications that were here before we were. Here, they still have all 750,000 books and publications stored on the highest floor, and of those 750,000 there is a high chance you’d find what you are looking for.
