To participate in this immersive piece of music, you will need to wear headphones. Keep the app open on your phone as you walk (do not lock the screen), or the different passages of music may not trigger at the correct times.
'Justice, Freedom, Peace, Memory' is centered around Groningen's Martini Tower. Put on your headphones and walk towards the tower. The piece is created from the sounds of the city; and it will blend with the sounds of the real world as you make your way towards the tower.
Do not feel that you have to walk in a straight line. The music will respond to your movements, building to a climax as you approach the tower, and receding as you move away...
When you reach the tower, look for the war memorial, 'Sint-Joris en de Draak', by the side of the church. The music will ebb away, leaving you in silence.
Behind the memorial you will find a garden and a new set of sounds to listen to. Perhaps spend some time here.
