A young mouse is nibbling on some food in the park by the beach. After eating his fill, he decides to head home to his burrow.

Chapter 1

A young mouse is nibbling on some food in the park by the beach. After eating his fill, he decides to head home to his burrow.

On the way home, he hears a car approaching.

Chapter 3

The forest is vast and difficult to navigate, but there is a trail that he can follow. As long as he stays on track, he can make it safely home.

Chapter 4

The canopy grows dark and the forest begins to quiet. He has seen this happen before--it's about to rain, and he cannot be caught in it when it does. Quickly, he scurries along the forest floor, focused on making it back to his burrow.

Chapter 5 - End

It begins to rain, but luckily, he makes it home in time. After his long journey, he is ready to rest. Quietly, he curls up in his burrow and lets the sound of the rain lull him to sleep.

This sound walk is based around the sights and sounds you would encounter when going through the Burleigh Headland. I have chosen to mix a variety of the common sounds you would encounter when walking the track including natural elements such as trees blowing in the wind, birds calling and animals moving through the bush. These sounds are combined with human elements as the headland is a very popular destination for runners, walking and getting to the beach so I felt as though it was important to include noises as such.
