Location: Howard County Library System, Central Branch 10375 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia Fabricated steel and found objects; 4’2”x6’7”x7’4” For Karl Saar inspiration is lurking everywhere, whether in nature, pop culture, or even a found metal part. Mosegaard the dragon is comprised of a variety of found parts, including sprockets, hooks, ring gears, and an old oxygen tank. Named after one of Saar’s Danish neighbors, whose name translates loosely to “Moss Farmer”.
