The oldest gravestone

1 sound

Close to the small doorway, on the south side of the church, lies the oldest known grave stone in the Churchyard to the children of Thomas Collier, dated 16 41, with ten other 17th Century grave slabs located nearby, all listed as grade II for their antiquity. To the south the curved churchyard boundary suggests a history dating back over 1000 years, head over the grass towards the two, six legged table tombs. Be careful of any slippery grave slabs. The grass may provide more grip, but not much, so take care!
