Boat Launching

The children made boats out of natural materials to sail on the River Trym. They also made paper boats, wrote a word that described the river and set these sail too. The river jumbled the words. we collected them further downstream. The order they arrived became the poem. A child sings a song they learned from school after seeing the boats prompted a discussion about where we had travelled.
