Before the Elm’s Village student complex was built in the early 2000s, a large tower block named Alanbrooke Hall stood on the site. Like Elm’s Village, it served as accommodation for university students. Strange activity occurred on the tower’s sixth floor. Books fell off of shelves; doors rattled because of an unseen force. Terrifying apparitions appeared at the foot of students’ beds. Come to Elm’s Village to hear more about the haunting of Alanbrooke Hall.
