You’ve made it halfway through! You are welcome to keep going but one of the best parts of doing an audio tour is you can take a break. We highly recommend this corner if you want to grab a snack or shop for souvenirs. Surrounding you are a number of small businesses owned by Salem residents and are staples of the modern day Derby St. Neighborhood. The two restaurants on the corner are Mercy Tavern with the cheerful sun sign is a local hotspot for music, food and drink and the Witches Brew is better for groups and the big windows make for great people watching. Across Derby St you will see Captain Dusty’s a favorite ice cream shop with many local flavors and non dairy treats as well. We also highly recommend visiting the various shops that line the street as places to buy souvenirs, get piercings or tattoos, or take home some local art.
