O- Buzzards and Red Kites

Watch out for Buzzards and Red Kites soaring over the valley here. Listen for their ‘mewing’ and whistling calls. Red Kites were nearly extinct in Britain as recently as the 1990s. Thanks to conservation efforts, their numbers have increased massively and they are now becoming a more common sight in the skies over Kent.
