31. Droogleever Fortuinplein

Het verkeersplein waar we nu rijden vormt de toegang tot de Maastunnel, de oudste riviertunnel van Nederland, uit 1942. Bij de ingang van de tunnel staat de 185 meter hoge Euromast.

This roundabout was constructed together with the river tunnel, which was the first in the Netherlands. It has been used since 1942. Near the entrance of the tunnel is the Euromast.

Dieser Kreisel führt zum Maastunnel, erster Flußtunnel der Niederlande, aus dem Jahre 1942. Der Tunneleingang befindet sich am Fuß des Aussichtsturms Euromast.
