Continuing south you will reach the paved area near the café, here you will pause and look east, towards Albion Hill, found behind the Phoenix Art Space. We end our walk with a view towards Harriett and Harry Cowley’s family home on the corner of Gower Street and Albion Hill. Their granddaughter Loraine tells us more about the experience of being a woman in laundry, through the lens of her grandmother Harriett.
