Café By The Lake

This was the busiest area of the park, where families had gathered for lunch or a stroll around the lake. Kids gathered around the lake to watch lizards, ducks, and my personal favorite, swans. Because the wildlife is accustomed to being around people, a duck will frequently waddle over to you to investigate what you are doing. The sounds in the area include birds fighting each other and children excited about the wildlife. I believe that recording human reactions to wildlife is also significant when trying to understand the environment; these sounds communicate to us that the Lake is a location of enjoyment and happiness, as well as a place rich in wildlife.
