Thank you for listening to Echoes of the Explosion, an audio augmented reality guide to the Halifax Explosion. Honora is a fictional character, but the experiences she has shared with you are drawn from the experiences of real Haligonians, in some cases word-for-word. This guide has been produced by SaltBox Digital Collective in partnership with the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. Honora was played by Melanie Patten. Additional voices were provided by Brenna Pladsen, Shanlon Gilbert, and Matthew Weissman. To learn more about the Halifax Explosion, visit the Halifax Explosion exhibit at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Lower Water Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

In memory of those who lost their lives in the Halifax Disaster, December 6th 1917, the men and women who went down with the Llandovery Castle in June 1918, and to victims of the Spanish influenza in the autumn of 1918. With thanks to all of the nurses and nursing sisters who served Canada bravely, both at home and abroad.

Lest we forget.
