Listen to composer JG Everest's site-specific spatial symphony, the "Library Woods Sound Garden", in two movements, composed spatially for the Library Woods at the Madeline Island Public Library in May 2023, where it premiered over Memorial Day Weekend of that year. The first movement is entitled "LaPointed" (15 min) and the second movement is "M.Bells" (25 min). Library Woods features soprano and baritone saxophones played by Free Range Orchestra member Matty Harris, and towards the end of the second movement, the voices of the afterschool program's students and staff from that year.
