S- Great Spotted Woodpecker (3)

1 sound

As you walk around the woodland, you may hear the sound of woodpeckers pecking at trees as they feed. They use their powerful beak to hammer holes in tree bark and then extract beetle larvae with a long, flexible tongue. The sound is much slower than their territorial drumming.
