RT 3:06 min Description: I’ve had a fascination with palindromes for quite some time, leading to many questions. Is a palindrome one or two parts? Is it two points converging or one vector with a start and end? Is there an element of reversal? AmanaplanacanalpanamA was borne out of an incredibly frivolous and intense argument I had with a somewhat friend about something completely stupid. While we were certainly discussing the topic, the other person's arguments were often oddly worded, off-topic, and mostly ill-informed. My goal with the somewhat arbitrary feeling entries of sound was to emulate my confusion in these moments. The palindrome and circle debate portrayed was a product of my fascination with palindromes, but my main goal was to emulate the characteristics of our argument: little to no substance, constant interruptions, and no end in sight.
