I wondered what these lights were.
Audio description: This soundscape begins with the same low, slow-swelling drone and water lapping sounds from the first piece. Gradually, the level of the drones drops down and the lapping water sounds become more prominent. The drones completely cut out then re-emerge as the second voice starts. As the volume level of the drones increase, the water sounds fade. The blending, rise and fall of the drones and lapping water flow continuously throughout the piece. Now and again, there is an occasional distant squawk from a bird that can be heard above the lapping tide. At the end, the sentence “I wondered what these lights were” is spoken with an echo effect. The piece ends with all sounds fading into silence.
