Thank you for listening to Echoes of the Explosion, an audio augmented reality guide to the Halifax Explosion. Isaac is a fictional character, but the experiences he has shared with you are drawn from the experiences of real Haligonians, in some cases word-for-word. This guide has been produced by SaltBox Digital Collective in partnership with the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic and the University of Toronto iSchool.Audio was recorded at Silverthorn Studios, Toronto, with additional voice direction provided by Taylor Abrahamse. Isaac was played by Patrick Simms. Additional voices were provided by Shanlon Gilbert, Matthew Weissman, and Brenna Pladsen. To learn more about the Halifax Explosion, visit the Halifax Harbour Explosion exhibit at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Lower Water Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

In memory of those who lost their lives in the Halifax Disaster, December 6th 1917, the men and women who served Canada in World War One, and to those who gave everything in service of others. With thanks to those who drove automobiles, carts, wagons, and anything they could find, through fire and snow, to get the wounded to hospital.

Lest we forget.
