Chapter 05:Cities and Eyes 03 (The Pivot)

In this city, eyes were everywhere, watching at every chance. Some of these eyes belonged to the inhabitants who observed the small movements of the others for what they could see and report.

In this city, it is said that there are 3 people that have 3 eyes. Those people have two eyes for the living, but only one for the dead. That's also known as the Bone Eyes. The Bone Eyes always find people's secret, and they make sure that the secret remains a secret.

In this city, the people slowly separated themselves from one another. One of the traces of their separation was that the city became a place to hide in. This is one of the places, the small places in city spaces, the places where the city knows it is safe. The empty spaces, such as vacant plots, empty places where there are no stands or houses, empty places in front of the city. Those were the places where the city knew it could be safe. In empty places, the darkness knows its limits, for it knows the city will be able to see it there.
