This sound-movement experience takes you from Lake Studios Berlin to Müggel park through the Friedrichshagen Spreetunnel to the forested paths along Müggelsee. Along the way, GPS-triggered soundscapes and texts invite you to tune into your surroundings, encouraging new ways of connecting to and relating with place. SonicMvmtScapes is a project directed by sound artist Samara Rice and dance artist Yasmine Lindskog that utilizes gps-triggered technology, sound, movement, and text to create unique experiences through urban and natural landscapes. It is an invitation for individuals to gain a deeper connection to the places they are a part of, to speculate the ways they relate to space, and to enter a heightened state of presence.
