I want you to know, I missed your wave,
I am sorry, but, Paula, dear, when you say you
will wave at the end of the letter,
I will assume that means after having read all you have written.
Adding a post-script complicates this greatly.
I appreciated it nonetheless,
I could have sworn I felt it graze my cheek.
