This geolocated audio walk takes you through the same terrain as a slightly odd group of gentlemen did in January 1889 to map the route for the now famous West Highland Line.
Please download the walk by clicking on the download symbol adjacent to the stream button. When you are ready to begin press the play symbol - audio will begin when you are inside a blue-marked zone. Headphones are advised for this experience.
The walk starts at the station carpark and takes you across the railway and along the dirt road to the north shore of Loch Laidon (the second and larger body of water on your left).
When you hear dialogue, please stop for a moment, and listen to the scene play out to hear the full story.
Please allow at least an hour to do the walk and arrive back at the station.
We hope that you enjoy the experience!
Or start creating tours, treasure hunts, POI maps... Just let your imagination guide you.
