Awrite lads, welcome an audio walk of the world's first UNESCO City of literature, Edinburgh! This bonnie city is known for its historic architecture, morbid past and stunning natural landscape, but this walk will focus on the rich literary history of the city. Despite the Proclaimers advocating for a five-hundred mile walk, this one is only around three miles long.
This walk will guide you around the historical old town teaching you about the authors that have walked the very streets you are on and how the landscape has inspired some of the most famous literature in existence. You will also hear an excerpt from each authors works read by local residents. So get ready for doolally detectives, havering headmistresses and endearing eejits.
