You're invited to connect to nature in locations chosen by the interviewees: Biscayne National Park, Crandon Park, Hollywood Beach, Legion Park, Enchanted Forest Park, and Morningside Park. The audio recordings are only accessible when you visit the exact places which are being discussed. Collectively the voices form a site-specific group portrait of 6 young people who love Miami-Dade, despite the concern and anxiety that they feel as climate change and real estate development squeezes everyone along coastal areas like ours. Voice Memos for the Future is a time capsule of messages for Miami residents of today, and those who will be here in the far future. Deering Estate visitors are invited to wander around the estate grounds in a contemporary expression of "Soundwalking," engaging in landscape walking with a focus on attentive listening while exploring surroundings. The artist in residence, Barron Sherer, has placed modules of layered ambient sounds recorded and processed at points around the Deering property. The audio works are spatiotemporal soundscapes comprised of field recordings, performances, and interactions with phenomena in specific locations and times. Estate étude No. 2 is a suite of sound compositions comprising multi-tracked location recordings and mobile phone synth performances in the spots where Deering visitors experience them.

Experivent Research Group presents a highly abridged version of Shakespeare's Macbeth. Beginning on the west shore of The Atlantic Coastal Waterway at Southern Blvd. and traveling east, you'll experience the three witch scenes from the play. The second scene is located on the mid waterway island along Southern Blvd, and the third alongg the south and east sides of Mar-A Lago. We invite you to perform your own personal ritual during this journey. The roles of the witches were performed by Jenna Meadows, Lotus Rogers, and Marina Byrne, under the direction of Brent T. Gibbs, who also edited the text. Growing up in Strathroy was like growing up anywhere else. Drinking beer, fishing, murder, suicide, drinking beer. Strathroy Stories is an immersive, spatialized sound piece that explores ideas of space and place through a series of adolescent and teenage memories of people, places, and events. This work examines the notion of memory as a dynamic, malleable construct that falls somewhere between archival and living narrative.
