A work-in-development, What is the Sound of Peace? attempts to answer this question through the voices of female British Army veterans.
The work consists of two Sonic Monuments, one situated outside of the National Army Museum, London and the other nearby starting in Duke Of York Square and leading to the entrance to the Saatchi Gallery.
Outside the Saatchi, the work is interactive and responds to the listener's position and movements, whilst at the National Army Museum, the piece is designed for static listening on the benches outside.
