The people, land and seascape of Twillingate are inextricably entwined. The challenges of life in remote, rural and coastal contexts depend upon close community connections. Stories and histories from such communities are at once unique to the community and at the same time highlight the universal truths of how we work together to survive, and find joy. Land and seascapes call to our imaginations through their wildness. We continue to be inspired by stories of the people living in these wonderfully wild places at the edge of the sea.
