Music provides transferable and therapeutic effects for young people in many ways. Alongside it providing an access point for engagement, it can provide a way to have a conversation for those that do not use language or talking as a primary means of communication. This residency at The Orchard, Lupton used music as a way to break down barriers; focusing on connecting people to community and environment, developing empowering relationships with Young People in order to work together to enable access for all.

This wonderfully creative audio tour of Exeter's oldest building takes you from room to room, from one historical period to the next. Listen to Maud Tothill telling you her story of saving the building from ruin, explore the monks' history, be a guest at the Hurst's Tudor feast, and discover the secrets of the building at your own pace. Family-friendly, easily-accessible history. Duration: approximately 40 minutes.
