All I suggest is that you follow the route and when you hear music, perhaps stop and let yourself stare a while at anything your eyes happen to rest upon. When the music finishes continue walking along the route until the next musical interlude and so on to the end. Please get in touch and let me know how it goes. The pieces are mostly 40 secs long, apart from the 3 main piano pieces that are between 1m30secs and 3m30secs. You can either wear some headphones if walking alone, or if with others maybe bring a portable speaker paired to your phone, and listen all together, letting the music fill the space as you stop to share the break. Even if walking alone, consider using a small portable speaker. The idea is that the music is heard alongside the natural environmental sounds rather than blocking it out. Start at the entrance to Burthallan Lane, and walk along Burthallan Lane to the coastal path, down and around to Clodgy Point, along to Porthmeor Beach and back up Porthmeor hill. If you have a little speaker that connects to your phone, that’s ideal- either bluetooth or wired connection. You can then listen to the music out loud and amongst the natural environmental sounds, or if you prefer use a pair of headphones. Once paired and with boots laced up and coat on, go on the walk. The app needs to be open, but the phone screen can be at sleep and in your pocket- Unless you want the use the phone to follow the route.
