By the left side of the road, there's a hidden well, water flows from the mountains and reaches the shore nearby.

This soundwalk describes a story of someone exploring the area of Platamonas (Greece). We are going downhill, from the ancient Castle to the windy bay, by foot. This area is full of trees, birds, harmless insects & people. The natural soundscapes combined with the human factor give a result of 'harmony'. (This project was recorded during Covid-19 times, 2021-22 Summer)

Data-walks was a three-day intensive workshop for creating geo-located audio walks, that took place in the context of 'Data-stories: New Media Aesthetics and Rhetorics for Critical Digital Ethnography' (Volos, 31/5, 1-2/6/2019), the 1st Greek confestival, organised by Department of History, Archaeology and Social Anthropology and the Laboratory of Social Anthropology of the University of Thessaly in Volos, Greece. //////////////// Developing a relational approach, in the first part of the workshop, we improvised on tactics through which we engaged with the city and became affected by it. During our sensory walks in Volos, we interacted with urban materialities in order to produce sonic data that expressed resonances and flows of the urban soundscape. Moreover, we captured the sonic imprints of our own interpretations regarding the ongoing interplay between our-self and the city. In the second part of the workshop, we created a locative audio walk with the use of the online platform Echoes. The collectively-produced sonic data thus turned into an affective cartography of acoustic narratives, through the creation of a location-aware mobile application.
