They sought out locations in the town and surrounding mountains to perform sound improvisations with their instruments: voice and modified piano accordion. Their improvisations responded to and interacted with the sounds of the environment, the local residents they encountered, and the acoustic properties of each location. ‘Suao Passersby’ invites you to visit the recording sites and hear their performances in-situ. The Hidden door in the night market is an augmented reality digital soundscape that takes the audience to experience space travel in a traditional night market in Taipei. The journey will start by hearing the sound of cooking, crowd, and motorcycles when the audience enters. As he or she kept walking, they will saw a pathway. Follow the direction, he or she will hear the sound of the door opens. Sound from the market is faded, sounds from different planets are echoing in this corridor.
