「聽說聲音工作室」的聲音藝術家張惠笙與Nigel Brown，花了一個月左右於台灣宜蘭蘇澳錄音。他們在蘇澳與鄰近山林中尋找各種地點，運用人聲與改造手風琴的樂器聲，來即興表演。他們的即興回應並呼應環境中的音景，路過的在地居民，與每個場地中回聲的原音。

Sound artists from Ting Shuo Hear Say, Alice Hui-Sheng Chang and Nigel Brown spent one month making sound recordings in Suao, Taiwan. They sought out locations in the town and surrounding mountains to perform sound improvisations with their instruments: voice and modified piano accordion. Their improvisations responded to and interacted with the sounds of the environment, the local residents they encountered, and the acoustic properties of each location.

‘Suao Passersby’ invites you to visit the recording sites and hear their performances in-situ.

We engage with a diverse community through encouraging participation and encounters with contemporary listening and sound creation practices from around the world.
