THE RESCUE OF THE BENVENUE: A historical sound walk by Steven M Halliday.
Folkestone Harbour to Sandgate, Kent, England, United Kingdom.
Award winning sound designer and musicologist Steven M Halliday retells the story of the 1891 shipwreck at Sandgate where the full rigged Benvenue ran aground.
Using 3D sound design, narration and music the 25 minute sound walk from Folkestone Harbour to Sandgate retells the dramatic events.
The sound walk is at its most dramatic when taken at sunset on a wintry day.
