The use of quite abstract sounds and images from nature should create a meditative and thought-provoking state for the audience. The experience should give them the time and space to take a break from the city and reconnect with nature while thinking about their relationship with nature and how they could enhance and preserve it within their city lifestyle.

A sonic exploration of Things heard not seen. Amongst the layers of Brisbane city’s soundscape is a transmission lost amongst the noise. Whilst we wander or commute from A to B we are unaware of the many frequencies that radiate from our devices, these frequencies known as electromagnetic fields are with us for as long as electricity flows through our devices. ‘Urban waves’ is a short timeline through multiple layers that sit between us and the earths core.
