Welcome to Bridgewater State University, my name is Jessica and this this my echo walk to a series of places on campus that hold strange events in the past and present. To begin your journey, venture to the bench near the Dana Mohler-Faria Science and Mathematics Center that looks up the road to the art building. After the initial intro, you may choose the path you want to take until you have completed all the stops. Thank you and Enjoy.

The Ogres War: A BSU Alternative History is a audio journey that explores points of interests that highlight important events during the Ogres War, a story of heroism and strength that took place once upon a time in Fairbridge, a village on what is now the Bridgewater State University campus.

Start at the tree that looks like it's twisting towards the sky. Follow its instructions as best you can, and listen to a few of the souls that haunt this place. Follow their voices to find the next one, and so on. As they are all filtered through the tree, they will have the same voice. Also, graves may not be exactly in the center of the echoes.

This immersive audio experience will take you through the historic working class neighborhood around the famous House of Seven Gables in Salem MA. You can access this tour 24/7 as all Echoes are located both on and off the campus. You will follow a walking route exploring Turner St., Essex St, Daniels St, Derby St to the waterfront and end back at the House of 7 Gables on the Hardy St side. Please makes sure your phone is charged and this tour works best when it is downloaded to your device. While you can enjoy this through your device speaker it was designed to be listened to with headphones. We hope you enjoy this walk through one of Salem's oldest neighborhoods. A tour through Salem, guided by Nathaniel Hawthorne, sharing his stories, his inspirations, and the many ghosts of Salem. Encounter the characters he created along the way that have endured in American culture for centuries, and perhaps discuss them with the muse of his psyche. This tour can be enjoyed 24/7 as all locations are on public property. You will start your walk on Turner St, travel down Derby, up Hawthorne Blvd, across Essex St, through PEM Walkway and end on Charter St at the Old Burying Point. This tour does not start and end in the same location. This tour works best when it is downloaded to your phone and while it's great anytime we love it best at night. This tour was made possible by a grant from the Salem Cultural Council and the support of the House of Seven Gables.

DESIRE PATH is a sonic walk by Kelly Chen to prompt a reimagining of mobility through interactions with vibrations. This geolocated audio tour is in conversation with themes of public/private, self/other, inside/outside, image/text, and other transgressed dichotomies presented in M’Kenzy Cannon: PLEASE LET ME IN at the Boston Center for the Arts. It explores the body’s relationship with city infrastructure with choreography and gesture. The sound walk combines elements of spoken “scores” and guided listening for the streets around Boston Center for the Arts in the South End, up Tremont Street, including interactions with Berkeley Community Garden and Peter’s Park. DESIRE PATH considers how silence, noise, and mobility function as social conditions by taking part in the sounds and motions produced by organic and industrial processes of South Boston. To plier over fences, saunter across curbs, and relever from pillars to the sounds of construction, cars, fountains, stop lights, and passersby, participants interpret the public dimensions of the space. What does the infrastructure allow you to do? How does it allow you to assemble? How doesn’t it? DESIRE PATH is created on Echos, available for mobile download on the App Store, Google Play, or the web. The walk will also be transcribed and mapped as a downloadable Google Maps coordinate set for accessibility. The walk can be performed in groups, or by oneself.

**_To experience this soundwalk as intended, please begin at the AMC Boston Common 19 movie theater and follow the suggested walking path highlighted in the map._** Join me for an immersive audio journey through the heart of Boston, starting at the AMC theatre and weaving through the Boston Common. This soundwalk is my exploration of the evolving relationship between humanity, art, and artificial intelligence. As you walk, you'll be guided by my voice and that of my AI counterpart, prompting you to consider the world around you in a new light. Each stop on the path raises new questions about authenticity, creation, and what it truly means to be human in an age of rapid technological change. The Path: To hear the full narrative for each stop, **please pause your walk when you hear the narration begin**. Once the audio for that stop has concluded, you can continue on to the next location.
