Rescue the Polar Bears!

room 7 ECHOES

Location: Dymock, Gloucestershire, England, United Kingdom

Your Arctic research team intercepts a distress signal—a family of polar bears is stranded on a drifting ice floe! The ice is breaking apart, and with temperatures dropping, they don’t have much time. The only way to send a rescue signal to the approaching icebreaker ship is to unlock a secured radio system. But the rescue frequency code is locked—you’ll need to gather intel from different parts of your Arctic church base to crack it.

SHEEPSCOMBE MUSICAL PROMENADE.

A musical accompaniment to your daily walk. All I suggest is that you follow the route and when you hear music, stop and let yourself stare a while at anything your eyes happen to rest upon. Then continue walking along the route until the next musical interlude and so on to the end. Please get in touch and let me know how it goes. I hope that by the end of the walk, the music has helped to bring feelings of calmness and peacefulness. XXX

The Ballad of Hannah Twynnoy; or Wild Curiosity

The Ballad of Hannah Twynnoy; or Wild Curiosity

Stand by the grave of Hannah Twynnoy in Malmesbury Abbey graveyard to hear a song is about the sad demise of this Malmesbury barmaid, who on 23rd Oct 1703 became the first recorded person in Britain to have been killed by a tiger. It was being kept in a cage in the yard of the White Lion pub in Gloucester Street, and Hannah's fascination with the beast regrettably did not end well for her. This song was written and performed by Gill Simmons, and was created originally for Malmesbury Community Radio.
