Location: Malmesbury, Wiltshire, England, United Kingdom

Stand by the grave of Hannah Twynnoy in Malmesbury Abbey graveyard to hear a song is about the sad demise of this Malmesbury barmaid, who on 23rd Oct 1703 became the first recorded person in Britain to have been killed by a tiger. It was being kept in a cage in the yard of the White Lion pub in Gloucester Street, and Hannah's fascination with the beast regrettably did not end well for her.

This song was written and performed by Gill Simmons, and was created originally for Malmesbury Community Radio.

Then continue walking along the route until the next musical interlude and so on to the end. Please get in touch and let me know how it goes. I hope that by the end of the walk, the music has helped to bring feelings of calmness and peacefulness. XXX

The Mystical Tale of Aurora the Artist

The Mystical Tale of Aurora the Artist

Many years ago, a young girl lived in the Crescent in Royal Victoria Park. She would spend her days gazing out the window wanting to explore the scenery around her. One day she took her canvas and paints to explore the park, creating authentic pictures, taking inspiration from her surroundings. This was just the beginning of what became her daily ritual, a stroll through the park whilst taking in the beautiful scenery and sounds of nature. She would capture every day through audio recordings which became a secret diary of her life. These recordings have recently been discovered and today we will take you through the very final recording that ever existed. A recording that to this day we can’t explain. But as you listen, you will get an insight into the life of Aurora the Artist and much like the young girl, be inspired by the beautiful surroundings at Victoria park.

The House with Twelve Doors

This 'solve-it-yourself' mystery audio trail is set in Page Park, Bristol. Start the trail on the app, enter the park at the south west corner and have a look at the locations shown on the map just inside this gate. Go to the drinking fountain and you’ll be able to see the house where the park elf wants to meet you! Please take care when doing this trail. It takes about 1 hour to complete. Listen carefully to the audio clues. Many will repeat if you re-enter the Echo, but overall progress will be lost if the app crashes (e.g. don't touch the top right "lines" icon). Downloading is better than streaming. If the "engine pauses" you just need to walk into one of the Echoes and the audio will self-start. 04/12/22.
