Xinyuan Ding

this project contains a series of places I go most frequently in the campus. Those places record lots of memories for me. The target audience are people who go to those place as me. It is common but indispensable place, people may not have too much thoughts for them, but it's a good chance to listen their stories.

It is a thank you note for school. Before this parking lot was built, parking at school was always an excruciating thing. The sign on the boards is always red, which means no place for me to park. Fortunately, starting from 2019 fall, the stadium parking lot started opening to us. It may not be a big deal for people live near to school, but it does make me feel more convenient. As time goes by, I hope our campus could be better in the future.

Wings, it's like a safe spot for me. The days I spent here were joyful. When I have projects to do, I come to the wings. The lab is only for mmedia students, that makes it private and mysterious. No one  knows how many wonderful art-pieces were made in this lab. Wings has some kind of magic, as long as I sit down, ideas will keep coming into my head. I can imagine, after graduation, no matter where I am, it will always have a place in my heart, my safe spot.

The elevator connects student centre and the Togo salmon hall. Just by listening to the sound, you can imagine that’s an elevator with ages. It moves slowly, but it doesn’t affect the convenience it brings to people. How many more years can it run? The answer is we don’t know, but it will be there and work hard until its last day.
