This is a site specific sound walk that has been created by Steph and Ria two uni students studying creative music technology and as part of one of the assignments contemporary challenges- making a difference we have been asked to create these sound scapes. We hope to create a mindfulness experience for the users.

This is a recording of the sea by Steph. 
I hope to create a calming environment here at Swansea market for you to experience as you take some time to reconnect with your senses and reality.

As part of one of my uni assignments we had to create a site specific sound scape.
This is a beautiful combination of bird song and the seaside. 
It is proven that bird song can help reduce anxiety and stress and personally when I listen to the two together it creates an environment that really helps me to come back to reality. I hope that this peice provides a mindfulness experience.

I'm hoping to achieve a mindfulness experience for the listener for when they maybe feeling anxious about the train station. I hope that listening to the birds will provide a calming experience.
