Take this guided walk and immerse yourself in new music created exclusively by up and coming North West based electronic producers, mentored by Mark Peters and Ulrich Schnauss. Each producer has woven site specific sounds both freshly recorded and archived into their tracks that take in 8 sites across Wigan (including 4 brand new tracks by Mark Peters & Ulrich Schnauss).

We embarked on a night walk circling Dove Mill which has been said to be haunted. The decrepit building fell into abandonment over 50 years ago. Although we aren't able to go inside or go beyond it's gates, we walked around the area of Deane Church Lane where it is located to see what we could hear!

Inspired by the Manchester Bolton & Bury Canal we have paired Salford / Greater Manchester artists with European artists to create a Sound Walk along the route of the old canal. The canal begins at the River Irwell at Middlewood Locks and then disappears from sight until near Agecroft Cemetery.
