A loud splash is heard, followed by a gasp for air.
Herbert [surprised] : Oh, fancy seeing you here!
Luna: How are thing going?
Herbert [confused] same as always, dear: I swim around like a mad-elf in the hopes that a fish will empale itself on the end of my spear. Most don’t, some do.
Luna: [somewhat excitedly] I’ve been thinking: is that really the best way of going about it?
Herbert cares? It worked well enough for the last 40 years, so I don’t see why we’d change things now?
Luna: And for 20 of those, we’ve been eating the same meal.
Herbet I’m a fisherman. We eat fish. We eat salmon, trout, bream, mackerel, cod, bass, eel, haddock,… pollack, halibut, perch, prawn, tuna, and anchovies.... What more could you possibly want?

Luna: Have you considered using a net?
Herbert gave you this idea?
Luna: Wilda.
Herbert: What? Since when do you two actually talk to each other?
Luna: Last week - She got laid off work, so we have a lot more time to chat now.
Herbert : Right. So she’s shifted to optimising my productivity, instead.
Luna [following a quick sigh] : If you catch more, we can sell the excess. We’ll afford better food and nicer clothes -we might even move out of this wooden hut!
Herbert: Why should we move?
Luna:[exasperated] Look at it…!
Herbert young lady, one day you’ll realise that the old ways are best. What I do may not be efficient or profitable, but it’s how we’ve always done it.
Luna: [frustrated] so?
Herbert: [frustrated] so why change? We’ve been perfectly fine with things until now!
Luna: And for all that time, they’ve had to use invisibility potions, just like you. I barely see you at all – is that ‘fine’?
Herbert: Well no, but…
